A quick change gullet bar system enabling you to alter the width of your saddle to best fit the profile of your horse’s withers.

The third billet can be unlooped and moved on to the floating balance strap attachment. This provides four possible girthing arrangements for you to be able to optimise saddle stability.
K & M Cob Plus GP
Extra slim line front gussets and shorter rear gussets to suit very bulky cob types .
  • Low profile saddle is designed to fit the low withered, extra broad backed Cob types

An open-headed tree and a broad panel which interfaces well, combine to make this a very universal fitting saddle. Cut far enough forward to allow for jumping and hunting, as well as schooling and hacking..

K & M Jump

Panel is cut away from the top of the scapula to allow the horse to move freely. Flocked panel, changeable billet positioning and movable calf and thigh blocks enable the fit to be tailored for horse and rider.

Thorowgood Cob Plus

Based on our ever popular model, but with extra slimmed down front gussets and shorter rear gussets. The Cob Plus is designed to fit on the reduced available saddle fitting space caused by excess fat on the shoulder and loins. When fitted with the XXW bar this saddle provides a fitting solution for horses previously considered too wide for anything but a treeless saddle.
